When we open up to & ask for guidance, we will get exactly that but will we notice it?
We can receive guidance from Spirit but this guidance can sometimes be very subtle & easily missed.
The language of our Higher Self & Spirit is that of symbols & messages of guidance can & will come through in ways that are meant to stand out, so what is it that we are looking for?
- lyrics on the radio
- license plates
- billboards
- scents
- gut feelings
- numbers
- dreams
- and a million other signs that are meant to generate an emotional response
The key to actually getting the message is to (one) be open to it, and (two) be present enough to see it when it happens.
What triggered me to write this post was my acknowledgment to myself of how much more likely I was to not only receive but also notice, the ‘good’ signs than the not so ‘good’ signs…or the signs that point me in a direction that I may not be ready to go.
I recognized my unconscious desire to sometimes be blind to the things that say “Hello my dear, you are going in the wrong direction.”
This is walking in ego, not having faith in the divine order of things, and not trusting my Higher Self to guide me correctly towards my highest good.
We all fall off at times, we forget old lessons, and we allow the ego to create blinders. Getting back on track is as simple as loving yourself, forgiving yourself, & getting right back on the horse if you will.
Remind yourself that the non-physical part of your being that exists simultaneously to your physical being is connected to infinite knowingness & will do it’s best to guide you on your path…if you will only listen to it!
